The German Youth Institute (DJI), provides grants for research internships to enable young scientists to follow scientific training. The scholarships are awarded for time-limited, independent qualifications, training and research projects that are in the interest of the DJI. The research internships are aimed at acquiring first experience and knowledge in the field of social science research. The Fellows / Fellows lead the research and development work in Munich, in the branch of the DJI in Hall or at the site of the Research Association in Dortmund. The scholarship / scholarship recipient receives a monthly allowance of 900.00 EUR plus 100.00 EUR general expenses each month for the internship period of up to 6 months. For applicants / applicants who do not live in Munich, a one-time rental subsidy of 800,00 EUR is possible.
University students who have completed a bachelor's degree program successfully and are in an accredited master's degree program or students at universities, on a master's course, can apply for the research grant. Preference is given to programs that have a reference to the topics of the DJI. Students who have completed a bachelor's degree program at a college or university students in the main study, who have completed the intermediate examination successfully, are encouraged to apply. Applicants must submit relevant diplomas or certifications, and must be able to present a list of publications. A content meaningful presentation of the project and the wider academic and professional plans are decisive criteria for the approval of the scholarship. There are no further personal criteria.
