The Tucholsky Society aims to support students with stays abroad of up to one year. Stipends are available to students and doctoral students. Statutory regulations specify that stipends can only be given to foreigners undertaking doctoral programmes in Germany or native Germans applying for a period of study abroad. Recipients get 780 Euros monthly. An one-time travel cost subsidy in the amount of 260 Euros is also paid out.
Support is available to students and doctoral students studying German studies, communication studies, sociology and political science. Work should be completed in the spirit of the Kurt Tucholsky Society (see limitations on theme and other particulars).
