General Description
The German National Academic Foundation is the benefactor of the aid program for Doctorate students. The program strives to support excellent and socially engaged Doctorate students. Germans, educational residents and EEA students can apply. The monthly stipend is 1.050€ plus an additional 100€. The duration of support is 2 years and may be extended 1 additional year.
Requirements
Students must be suggested by their supervisor and can not self-apply. Only exceptional candidates will be considered. Applicants must have been accepted to study in a Doctorate program at a German university. Starting date of their studies must not date back more than 12 months. Their graduation should not date back more than 3 years. Students may only be considered if they do not possess any other full scholarship for their Doctorate studies.
