The Access Programme Award is for students who achieve academic excellence. It is given to the best undergraduate students at the University of Leeds each year. The winner of the competition receives £200 and a certificate. Runners-up get £50 and a certificate.
Students must be nominated by a member of staff. They must have entered the university through an access programme or alternative entry scheme. And they must be at undergraduate level or participating in a level 0 access programme. Potential and actual academic excellence are the most relevant criteria to receive the award.
