General Description
Maintenance Loans are available to full-time students at Bishop Grosseteste University who are either independent or living in a parental home. Amounts up to £5,500 are paid to students who live independently. Those living with their parents can get up to £4,375.
Requirements
There are certain factors that are taken into consideration to ascertain the amount of maintenance loan that a student should receive. It is based on the student’s household income. This is assessed according to the relevant governing bodies in the area the student lives such as SAAS, Student Finance England, Student Finance Wales, and Student Finance Northern Ireland. The main contributing factors include: the student’s household income, the student’s residence during study, and the final year status of the student.
