General Description
The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Bavaria (Evangelische-Lutherische Kirche in Bayern) supports theology students who are in financial need. To this end, it grants book money, loans and in rare cases, stipends. The amount of support awarded is based on the individual need of the respective applicant.
Requirements
This support is aimed at theology students who are listed as candidates for ministry or for work in the field of religious education. Also eligible are students of religious philology preparing to enter the teaching profession in Bavaria. Applications may be submitted at any point during a student's course of study.
