On a case-by-case basis, the University of Macerata will provide fee and tax reductions for students demonstrating merit and/or financial need.
Students asking for a merit-based reduction must be enrolling in a first-time degree course: in other words, the student is not eligible if he or she already has an undergraduate degree and yet is re-enrolling as an undergraduate. In addition, the student must be enrolled at the University full time, and must have certain scores and credits that qualify him or her as a high-achieving student. Students demonstrating financial need can also be exempt from paying university taxes: their ISEEUs must be less than 59,000 euros and their ISPEUs must be less than 60,000 euros.
