General Description
The Michael Ventris Memorial Fund offers funding for Mycenaean Studies. The fund was created to commemorate the life of Michael Ventris who was one of the three architects who deciphered an ancient script discovered at Knossos (Linear B). The award is made on a yearly basis and can amount up to £2,000.
Requirements
The programme is designed to support post-doctoral research in a specified relevant area. However, postgraduate students who are about to complete their doctorate studies can apply too.
