Learning and Leading Fieldwork Apprenticeships are a grant scheme for undergraduate students at UK universities. They are offered by the Royal Geographical Society. Five bursaries are given each year. They are offered to help students undertake research projects overseas. The awards are worth £2,000.
To be eligible students must be from the UK. They must also be studying at a UK university in the first year of their bachelor's degree. Their lecturer must support their application. Preference is given to students who have not had similar fieldwork opportunities before. The fieldwork must last for at least a month.
