The Canon Hall Junior Prize is available for students of the Faculty of Theology and Religion at the University of Oxford. It is based on an examination on things like the Synoptic Gospels, St John's Gospel, and the Acts of the Apostles in the original Greek in respect to translation, criticism and interpretation. The examination consists of two papers. You can’t win the award twice but it is worth £300.
In order to be eligible applicants must be members of the university and be reading for a Final Honour. Students can also enter within one term of having sat a Final Honour School.
