General Description
In order to honor the musical heritage of Vienna compositor Walter Jurmann, the Friends of Walter Jurmann Foundation in cooperation with the Conservatory Vienna hosts an annual singing contest. Participants are asked to perform three songs of the Walter Jurman portfolio. One song must be English or French. The winner receives a scholarship worth 1.000€. The second price receives a scholarship worth 500€.
Requirements
Participants must be enrolled in either vocal, opera, musical entertainment or theatrical studies as well as the classical opera course at the Conservatory Vienna. Only the birth years 1984-1996 will be considered.
