General Description
BP appreciates the talented and ambitious engineers and scientists and works closely with the University to support careers in the oil and gas industry. BP is delighted to be able to offer up to 10 science, engineering and mathematics students a £5,000 scholarship each year for the duration of your degree*. The BP STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) scholarships are open to UK, EU and international first-year students studying selected courses. As a BP scholar, student will be guaranteed an intern or graduate interview. Student will get financial support, a unique opportunity to experience first-hand what the company do, such as: using the latest technology to find oil and gas, building platforms in the ocean, developing low carbon fuels and lubricants, be invited to join BP for exclusive events and experiences and meet their graduate Challengers. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of an online application form, short online numerical and verbal tests and a face-to-face interview. All eligible students will be sent an email with information on how to apply at the start of the academic year.
Requirements
Applicants must be EU/UK/International first-year undergraduate students who study science, technology, engineering and mathematics who excel academically.
