Canterbury Christ Church University offers a Care Leaver's Bursary to specific attending students. The bursary is worth up to £3,600. It is open to Home or EU students. The bursary is awarded over the duration of the student’s academic career. To be eligible the student must have been in care by the age of 16. Students recognized by the Foyer Federation as being homeless also qualify.
Applicants must attend Canterbury Christ Church University. To be eligible a student must have been in care by the age of 16. That care has to have lasted for at least 13 weeks. If the student is homeless there is another way to qualify. They must be recognized by the Foyer Federation or otherwise prove their homelessness. This must be verifiable by the school. Applicants cannot be in receipt of NSP or any other CCCU financial support.
