The Durham University offers the Catholic Chaplaincy Choral Scholarship to students with musical talent. The scholarship is valued at £100 annually.
All applicants must be registered students at Durham University. Up to four awards will be made, typically one each for soprano, alto, tenor and bass. Under the Director(s) of Music and the Chaplain, Choral Scholars will take a leading role in the Chaplaincy Choir, enriching the liturgical celebrations for all. Scholars will be encouraged to help other members of the Choir develop their talents, for example by leading section rehearsals where appropriate.
