General Description

The Li Xiaoming Scholarship is named after a promising student who graduated Warwick in 2009, and was tragically killed in the 2010 Haiti earthquake. The scholarship is one grant of 20,000 Pounds Sterling in order to pay for a taught master, awarded annually. It is open to students from China, as Li was Chinese himself.

Requirements

Students must be from the People's Republic of China. Successful applicants will have outstanding results and academic merit. Students must already have been accepted into the taught master of their choice. Furthermore, a 500 word essay 'how your proposed study at Warwick and consequent future career will contribute to society' is part of the process.
