The University of Leeds offers the Lord Laidlaw Scholarship to support students entering the University through an alternative entry or access scheme, such as Access to Leeds, Realising Opportunities or a foundation year. Successful candidates will be provided an award worth £9000 for the first year only. This scholarship can be paid as either a fee waiver or as cash in instalments throughout the academic year.
This scholarship is open to full-time students entering the University through alternate means such as Access to Leeds or Realising Opportunities. The household income of candidates must not exceed £25000 a year. Applicants cannot have any prior experience of higher education.
