General information on this scholarship
General Description
In order to support young artists, Heriot Watt University offers scholarships worth up to £400 per year. The awards, called the Archer Music Scholarships, are usually granted to help pay tuition fees at the university. Successful students are also offered places on the Heriot-Watt residential music course. One scholarship for a very talented student will go up to a £500.
Requirements
This scholarship is available to students who show great musical ability and potential. A reference from the last vocal or instrumental teacher is necessary. The final decision is based on an audition.
