Full-time undergraduate first year students at the University of Bolton can get financial awards from the National Scholarship Programme. The total value of the scholarship is £6,000, paid throughout the three years of study.
Scholarships are awarded for first year HE course. Students from the UK and EU are eligible but because of the fee waiver element, EU students only receive part of the scholarship. Students who study Science, Technology, Engineering, and Engineering and Mathematics are eligible to receive scholarships if their household income is less than £21,000 a year. Care leaver students are eligible to receive scholarships if their household income is less than £21,000. NHS-funded students, postgraduate students, students continuing from one course to another, students who have transferred from other educational institutions, and students who have sponsorship arrangements, are not eligible.
