General Description
Erasmus Mundus aims to support the quality of European Higher Education in addition to promoting dialogue and understanding between cultures and people through the cooperation with third-countries. It supports individual students, university staff and researchers who would like to take a period of studying. It also supports higher education institutions who would like to implement joint programmes at level of postgraduates (Action 1). It also supports any organization in the field of higher education who would like to develop the projects of enhancing fields of European higher education. There will be more than 170 scholarships that lasts for 1-36 months.
The Erasmus Mundus Scholarships cover travel costs (returning ticket), subsistence, tuition fees and insurance. The subsistence per month values 1,000 € for Masters and Undergraduate students. It values 1,500 € for Doctorates, 1,800 € for Post-doctoral students and 2,500 € for staff members. All Interweave fellows will be taking return tickets where the fixed rate for the distance from Home/Host university in km values 2,500-5,000 1,500 € or 5,000-10,000 2,000 €.
Requirements
The scholarships are provided for staff and students from Asia to Europe and vice versa.
