General Description
The Austrian-American Educational Commission offers the Fulbright German Language Teaching Assistantship Program for graduate students interested in undertaking German language teaching assistantships at American universities. Funding will be provided for a maximum of 12 months; a travel grant of 800 euro is also included.
Requirements
These assistantships are available to candidates holding a university degree issued by an Austrian higher education institution, preferably in the fields of German Studies, English/American Studies, German as a Foreign Language, Linguistics or Translation and Interpreting. Applicants must be Austrian nationals and are also required to be between 21 and 29 years of age.
