General Description
NUI Galway Elite Athlete Scholarship was established by NUI Galway to support students who are exceptional athletes. Successful applicants are given tools and resources to improve their skills. Academic progress is strongly encouraged too. Individual needs are assessed to allocate the benefits of the scholarship. Guidance in strength preparation, nutrition, and medical support are some of the areas covered by the award. A monetary award is also given to recipients of the scholarship on an individual basis.
Requirements
New and existing students are eligible to apply for the scholarship if they intend to be enrolled in a postgraduate course at NUI Galway. Automatic consideration is given to applicants who apply for the Performance Points Scholarship.
