General information on this scholarship
General Description
Two Irish Traditional Musicians Scholarship are available every year at University College Cork. To be successful students must wish to study music in their first year of the BA or Bmus Degree at UCC. The award is given based on a recommendation by the Academic Board.
Requirements
Candidates must display a high degree of practical ability in traditional music performance on at least one principal traditional instrument. They must also satisfy all normal requirements of entrance into the Music Department.
