General Description
George J. Mitchell was a very iconic figure and University College Cork wants to honor that. The George J. Mitchell Peach Scholarship has been established in his honor. This scholarship is intended to create opportunities for the exhange of university students between Ireland and the State of Maine. To be eligible students must be 18 years or older. The student must also have an outstanding academic and leadership record. The successful student will receive remission of tuiton and academic fees. The student will also receive free room and board. A stipend of $900 will be avaliable per semester along with two return flights to the United States.
Requirements
Candidates must be full time students at University College Cork. Candidates must have been registered and completed one full academic year at University College Cork. Candidates must be 18 years or older. Candidates are required to have an outstanding academic and leadership record.
