General Description
The Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno, Czech Republic is able to provide assistance to talented low-income students through their Social Scholarship program. Students whose family income sits below a certain level are able to benefit from these scholarships as a way to offset the costs of attending university. The scholarship is presented as a monthly stipend where the amount is determined by the dean of the university. The stipend can last as long as 21 months from the time that it is first issued.
Requirements
Full-time students of the Janacek Academy who are economically disadvantaged have the right to apply for these scholarships. Those students with families who earn less than 1.5 on the government coefficient, considering child credit, are qualified to receive these scholarships.
