General Description

The Social Aid Fund is a program to support students with immediate and urgent needs, inserted under the social responsibility of NOVA. This Fund is intended for all students registered and enrolled at NOVA, the first cycle of studies leading to the degrees of Bachelor or the integrated master's studies, and is intended to prevent the dropout and promote support for the integration of students into active life. Under the Fund, SASNOVA may be assigned to students in two forms: Subsídios Emergency, through a contribution to the costs of attending a course of study, students whose social emergency is not framed within the context of emergency support of the Rules of Grants; and Awards Collaboration in activities promoted by Organic Services and Units of the University, consistent with their skills and time available, without compromise to their school activities and learning.
