General Description
University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro is keen on providing financial aid to students who are interested in pursuing one of the degrees of the university but do not have the necessary funds in the household in order to achieve this. Students receive the money on a monthly basis directly into their bank account, following a transfer from the Directorate General of Higher Education.
Requirements
Only students with a precarious financial situation are eligible for these scholarships and they will receive them as long as their household is in the need of economic aid in order to pay tuition fees and other expenses. Following the second year of study, students with good grades in the previous year will be eligible for a scholarship from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro .
