General Description
The Camões Institute is offering scholarships for different periods of the year. The scholarships will be during the summer or the full academic year. The courses will be taught in Portuguese universities or other institutions recognized by the Camões Institute. It is intended for students foreign and Portuguese and will provide courses about Portuguese Language and Culture. There is also the Fernão Mendes Pinto Program. It is to graduates or undergraduate students in their final year. The student must be involved in projects of scientific or professional training in the field of Portuguese as a foreign language, through the Centres of Portuguese Language, Lectureships in the Camões Institute or in a university recognized by the institute.
Requirements
The requirements are the same for all scholarship programs. Applicants must submit documents scanned in pdf format. They will need a document confirming academic qualifications. A document issued by two persons of recognized competence attesting to their qualities to the goals of the program in question. Also in the letter they should justifying the opportunity for attendance of the course. Another letter explaining the reason why chooses this program. Two photograph. A document attesting there is no outstanding issues regarding contributions to social security in Portugal. As well for foreign student a document from their original country showing they have no tax problems. The student must show a structured work plan. It needs clearly indicating the objectives and completion time.
