General Description
The Science@Leuven Scholarship is open to candidates enrolled on the following masters programme: Master of Astronomy and Astrophysics
Master of Biology
Master of Biophysics, Biochemistry and Biotechnology
Master of Chemistry
Master of Physics
Master of Geography
Interuniversity Master of Geology (only students applying for the specialisation Geodynamics and Georesources or Surface processes and Paleoenvironments can apply for the scholarship. Students applying for the other specialisations (enrollment at Ghent University) will not be considered for the scholarship.)
Master of Mathematics
Master of Statistics
The amount of the scholarship can be up to €8,000 Euro for a year. The scholarship will cover the tuition fee for 1 year, and provide insurance and basic health insurance. The amount awarded for living expenses can vary.
Requirements
Applicants must not have studied or worked at the University of Leuven before. Applicants must have a bachelor degree from a foreign university that gives them access to the master programme they are applying for. Applicants must not have acquired a master degree or a PhD. Additionally, students must be able to show an excellent academic track record and be highly motivated. Applicants must also have a high proficiency in English.
