Three types of scholarships are available. IHEAM provides the covering of courses registration fees to students from CIHEAM-member Mediterranean countries. Some candidates from non-CIHEAM member countries may also be awarded under certain circumstances. The Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) provides scholarships to foreign nationals who wish to continue their studies in Spain. The Carolina Foundation provide financial aid to students from Latin America in order to participate in programs organized by IAMZ.
For the AECID scholarships the candidates must have proven knowledge of the Spanish language and have to provide a statement from the University in Spain that they are provisionaly admitted. Candidates that are interested in obtaining a provisional admission from IAMZ must complete an application form and send it to IAMZ along with a copy of the university degree, a transcript of records and a letter requesting to obtain a provisional admission to apply for an AECID scholarship.
