General Description
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki announces the granting of two scholarships abroad from the proceeds of a legacy "LAMPRINIS - LINAS Athanasoulia to graduates of the Faculty of Sciences. The scholarship will be for twelve months in total per academic year deposited each quarter. The scholarship may be extended up to two years maximum. The scholarship will be suspended if: a) prolonged or incurable illness prevents the continuation of study abroad b) the scholar discontinues his studies (In this case the scholarship must be returned). c) it is shown that the fellow receives another scholarship d) it is shown that the fellow does not show good conduct and breached the Laws of the State Social Protection Regime. e) the fellow fails to produce the required certificate of graduate study per semester. f) the annual income of Lambrini -Linas Athanasoula decreases drastically.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following conditions: be of Greek nationality or origin and aged up to 36 years, have completed their studies at the Faculty of Science with a performance of at least "very good" (6.50 to 8.50 out of a possible ten). Those interested in receiving a grant must submit an application affirming that he/she has "neither received a scholarship to take the same degree from the same or other bequests. Requirements supporting the extension of scholarship: certificate of Foundation regarding the continuation of studies including the expected end of the study, progress Report of the fellow (eg curricula followed, work submitted, any score given), the need to continue his studies to obtain a postgraduate degree, two letters of responsible teachers abroad stating scientific merit and performance with a proposal to extend the scholarship.
