General Description
The Heinrich Böll Foundation is politically affiliated with the party "Bündnis 90/Die Grünen". It is one of the twelve nation-wide support programmes for talented students. The programme supports German students and educational residents (pursuant to §8 of BaföG). The package includes a monthly cash grant of 1.150,00 EUR. Funding can be received for a maximum period of three years.
Requirements
The application is open to German doctoral students and educational residents of all disciplines. The application must be made at the beginning of the promotion. Completion grants are not awarded. The Heinrich Böll Foundation requires excellent school and academic performance. In addition, community involvement and political interest according to the fundamental ideas of the Heinrich-Böll-Foundation are necessary. Dissertation topics are treated preferentially with respect to the focal points of the Heinrich Böll Foundation.
