Students at the University of Applied Sciences (University Neubrandenburg) can apply for Germany Scholarships. It is an award aimed at students who are strong academically, and in their work and commitment to society. It is a government run scheme but half of the money is provided through donations. It is worth 300 Euros per month. It is paid for 12 months but this can be extended on some courses that are longer.
There are no qualification requirements to apply for a Germany Scholarship. This means it is open to everyone. To get it students must be gifted academically. They must also be committed to social improvement. If a student has particular social, family or personal circumstances these will be considered.
