General Description
At the University of Applied Sciences Trier – University for Technologies, scholarships are granted as part of the German Scholarship Program initiated by the German government. The program consists of a monthly 300€ allowance. At first the award is granted for 12 months and may be extended up to the standard period of studies.
Requirements
Beginning students and degree students of all academic disciplines at the University of Applied Sciences Trier – University for Technologies are entitled to apply for this program. Beginning students are expected to have an exceptional grade point average in their A-Level (Abitur). Students in their second or higher semesters are expected to have performed outstandingly well in their chosen degree course. In addition, the applicants social engagement and extra-curricular activities are being taken into consideration. Special social, familiar and personal circumstances are assessed, too.
