Requirements

Even if the requirements of every American university can vary, there are certain general criteria you have to fulfill to be able to study in the USA with athletic scholarships:

• you must be between 17 and 21 years old
• you must have finished high school, equivalent training courses or be studying the subjects corresponding to the completion of a high school degree
• it's necessary that you have the intention of studying in the USA for at least 1 year
• your level of English has to be acceptable and sufficient to pass the tests required for admission to the American University System (TOEFL)
• you have to be competing regularly in official competitions, with videos to show your athletic level
• you need to have a good athletic level with corresponding marks/ results to prove it
• it's necessary that you never have signed a professional contract or have had an agent or professional representative before
